Policy:
Please note these programs are not diploma programs. This is a drop in for short programs held at Interior Academy. This program does not require approval by the
Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of
the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills &
Training. As such, PTIB did not review this
program and no claim can be made against the fund.
Interior Academy of Hair Design and Esthetics will provide refunds to students under the following conditions:
- There is a written notice of withdrawal by the student to Interior Academy if the student withdraws before the program start date, minus the registration fee.
Procedure:
Refund Entitlement
Refund entitlement is calculated based on the total fees due under the contract, less the applicable non-refundable application or registration fee. Where total fees have not yet been collected, Interior Academy is not responsible for refunding more than has been collected to date and a student will be required to make up for monies due under the contract.
For a Refund Before the Program Begins
- The student submits a written request of withdrawal from Interior Academy.
- If written notice of withdrawal is received by Interior Academy 7 days before the commencement of the
period of instruction specified in the contract, then Interior Academy may retain 20% of the total tuition and fees due under the contract. (Restocking/Cancellation Fee)
For a Refund After the Program of Study Begins
- Program is non-refundable.
